Mytholl of the Wood

Hey guys, this is #2 of 6 in my Path series! This features a really cool dead pine you can find just below the Appalachian Trail right in front of a crazy boulder field. I love the way the dead branches at the top jut out in different directions and the holes in the wood add that extra creature-like touch I always dig, adding to the tone I am going for in my latest work. I used the sun blaring overhead as a way to add a cool halo effect on top. The rock in the bottom has fugus growth that gave me some interesting patterns and I am very happy with the way I represented it.
